About Me
After graduating in 1998 from one of America's top-ranked MIS programs at The University of Texas at Austin, I accepted a Programmer/Analyst position at National Instruments. With challenges and opportunities at every level, I gained experience with a broad range of technologies, including Lotus Notes/Domino, LabWindows/CVI, Oracle Applications, Oracle Database, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, SQL, PL/SQL, SQR, Java. At NI, I worked with multiple business areas...Marketing, Manufacturing, R&D, Finance, IT and Web, and gained valuable experience as Programmer, Team Lead, Technical Lead, Training Coordinator, Release Manager and Applications Manager. Suffice it to say, I was rarely bored!
In 2006, I decided to pursue programming as an independent contractor. Through all my experiences at NI, I learned a lot about myself-and my strengths. Most importantly, I discovered that my passion is programming. And I am thrilled that I get to go to work each day loving what I do!
